Student-led ensembles from the High School band recently visited with Lenape's Grade 5 band. After performing for the younger musicians, the Chamber Winds and Brass Ensembles joined the Grade 5 students in playing their band music, under the guidance of Lenape band director David Finch. 

 

During the visit, High School students discussed the myriad opportunities available for musicians in our district, including the potential to earn college credit at the High School through SUNY Ulster. The addition of shiny new instruments, acquired through the Address Resolution Protocol (ARP) grant, further enhanced the rehearsal experience! 🎷

 

As March marked Music in Our Schools Month, our halls brimmed with beautiful melodies here at New Paltz!
